OUR OPPORTUNITY: You will provide assistance for the day-to-day operation of the Campus Library, under the general direction and supervision of the Library Technician. You will open and sort mail, check in periodicals, provide a document delivery service, prepare orders, circulate Library material and register patrons into Novanet. You will also answer routine reference questions, provide assistance to users in finding items using the online catalogue or using the Library's resources, including the Internet.
YOUR CREDENTIALS: You have a high school diploma, combined with a minimum of two years experience in a library environment, or recognized equivalencies. You are proficient in Internet searching and possess a significant level of computer literacy. You are experienced in using the complete suite of Microsoft applications, including MS Work, Excel and Access, as well as Groupwise. You thrive in a demanding, fast-paced environment and possess exceptional client skills. You are a creative self-starter with a strong work ethic and a commitment to excellence.
