Dear colleagues,
The University of New Brunswick Libraries invite you to a talk by:
Roy Tennant, Manager-eScholarship Web & Services Design,
California Digital Library
"Library Collections & Services in the 21st Century University"
Monday, May 13, 2002 10:00 am, Kent Auditorium, Wu
Conference Centre
Computers and the networks that tie them together are
transforming our libraries and the universities they serve. Although
the areas for which university libraries have historically been
responsible are unchanged, how librarians accomplish those
responsibilities is being vastly and irrevocably changed. In
addition, libraries are often taking on new roles to better serve the
research, scholarship, and publication of university faculty and
students. What are these changes, and what do they mean for the
21st century university?
This talk is supported by the UNB Visiting Lecturers' Fund.
There is no admission charge and no registration is required.
