Hi everyone,
There are still spaces available for the upcoming ALA teleconference entitled "Recruitment @your library", to be broadcast, Friday, April 26, 1-3pm. The broadcast features an impressive panel of library personnel, who will discuss issues related to staffing, including professional development and distance learning, staff shortages, etc. For more information on the teleconference see the notice below.
The teleconference ties in with aspects of the "Succession Planning in Public Libraries: Choices for the 21st Century" program offered as part of the Human Resources stream at the upcoming CLA Conference, which looks at staffing and recruitment issues and would be of particular interest to those attending this stream.
Please contact me if you would like to register.
