South Shore Regional Library
Librarian
The South Shore Regional Library serves slightly under 60,000 people in
Lunenburg and Queens Counties, Nova Scotia. Our Branch/Extension/Systems
Librarian supervises three Town Branches, Interlibrary loan and special
services, maintains collection as part of a team, works with others to
maintain and upgrade the library's automated systems, and assists with
administration. Must be able to travel the Region. Candidates must have an
MLS/MLIS from an accredited Library School and three-five years experience,
including supervision, with public libraries. Familiarity with Nova Scotia
Public Libraries an asset. Salary starts at $38,688. Written applications
