Planning for a one-day collections development pre-conference at CLA
2002 is in the preliminary stages. Co-planners, Linwood DeLong
(UWinnipeg) and Sandy Campbell (UAlberta) would like to involve APLA
librarians (one academic, one non-academic) in planning this event.
There will be a major speaker and a series of presentations which cover
some of the current issues in collection development.  If you are
interested in joining the planning team, or have ideas of relevant
speakers or presentation topics, please contact me by phone or e-mail.
