Reporting to the Head of Information Services, the incumbent
is responsible for providing reference service to the
Library users, staffing the Reference Desk, and assisting in
the development of Library guides.

Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Library Science
from an ALA accredited school, familiarity with electronic
resources, good communication skills and demeanor of
accessibility and helpfulness.

This is a part-time academic term, September 2001 – April
2002, position of 29 hours per week with the following
schedule:

Wednesday 6:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Thursday, Friday, & Sunday 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm, 6:30 pm –
10:00 pm
Saturday 12:00 pm – 4:30 pm.

There is a possibility that this position could be filled by
one individual or shared by two.
