Dear FAB members,
You probably remember from the London meeting or from reading in the
latest issue of our Newsletter that all FAB members who joined before year
2000 will be sent a renewal form to indicate their continuing interest in
FAB.
We are going to ask members to re-confirm their contact information and
also to select 'major areas of interests' from a new list of interests
that we are composing. The reason we want to list interests is to help
our 'network' function for 'networking.' You will be able to find other
feminists with interests similar to your own by using your 'find' function
on our Directory on Line.
You can do that now by accessing that Directory now and using a former
list of codes for interests. (See URL at the bottom of this message.)
Several members have suggested that those categories need improvement and
revamping, so we are working on that right now.
If any of you would be interested in helping compose that list, please let
me know within 2 days.
Interested FAB members will be put onto an 'electronic committee,' will
be asked for their suggestions, and will be sent suggested lists on which
they may comment. I HOPE to have this 'committee' do its work swiftly and
be done within eight days, if possible.
SO - please let me know within two days if you're interested in
participating.
If you don't want to be on the 'committee' but would like to suggest one
or two categories, then send me a one-line message "Please be sure to
include the category xxx."
