Two messages of interest to FAB members:
If some of you on the FEAST list would like a quick assessment
of RU 486 in light of abortion and population issues, from an ecofeminist
point of view (with some references to the medical literature), you might
want to take a look at my "Reproductive Choices: The Ecological
Dimension," in _The Environmental Ethics and Policy Book_, edited by
Donald VanDeVeer and Christine Pierce (Wadsworth). It is also included in
_Contemporary Moral Problems_, edited by James E. White, 6th edition (also
Wadsworth), which some of you might have on the shelf. A
shorter version of this same article is in Alison Jaggar's _Living with
Contradictions_, but it does not include the discussion of RU 486.

Another piece worth seeing on RU 486 is Janice Raymond's "RU 486: Progress or
Peril?" in my REPRODUCTION, ETHICS, AND THE LAW: FEMINIST PERSPECTIVES
(Indiana).
