|University of Pittsburgh. The Consortium Ethics Program (CEP) of the
University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pa, invites applications for the
position of Assistant Director. This position is a one-year, renewable,
non-tenure appointment at the Research Assistant Professor level in the
Department of Medicine. The proposed start date is August 1, 2001. The
successful applicant should have a Ph.D., J.D., or clinical degree with a
firm background in biomedical ethics. Experience teaching in a clinical
setting is a must.
The CEP is the healthcare ethics education network of western Pennsylvania.
The Assistant Director works with the Director and CEP Staff in managing the
day-to-day educational programming and training in medical ethics for forty+
member hospitals. Protected time for research and writing is included.
