Good morning,

As many of you are aware, tomorrow is Library Support Staff Day. The  
purpose of this day is to recognize the work of Library Technicians,  
Library Assistants and Library Clerks in our Canadian public, private,  
school, government and institutional libraries. It will give them the  
opportunity to promote their profession, recognize their role in  
libraries and celebrate their achievements. This first Canadian  
Library Support Staff Day will be observed right across the county.

The Nova Scotia Association of Library Technicians (NSALT) would like  
to take this opportunity to recognize all Library Technicians, Library  
Assistants, Library Clerks and other library support staff for the  
vital services they provide and to remind everyone that library  
support staff are working for you each and every day.

I encourage all employers, fellow employees and library users to take  
the time tomorrow to show their appreciation to these incredible  
individuals.
