Scrambling to complete your conference registration to attend CLA 2002
in the beautiful city of Halifax, Nova Scotia? Rest easy...at least for
a little while longer.
The registration deadline for CLA 2002 slated for Halifax, Nova Scotia
(June 19-22, 2002) has been extended from May 10th UNTIL Tuesday, May
21, 2002. Registrations MUST be in to the CLA office by Tuesday, May
21st. Individuals wishing to register after May 21 must register on
site in Halifax. Save the $25 on site administration fee by getting
your registration in by the deadline!

The Canadian Library Association's Annual Conference is the centrepiece
of CLA's activities, award presentations and professional development
program. It is also the setting for the annual business meetings of the
Association and its divisions, including the Annual General Meeting. The
conference provides for a variety of session formats to present and
discuss ideas, issues and techniques for the purpose of advancing
libraries and the knowledge and skills of library and information

not want to miss the Inaugural Address of incoming CLA President Wendy
Newman as she kicks off what will surely be an interesting and exciting
year for the association. If you have already submitted your
registration and neglected to register for the banquet, or any other
ticketed event, simply reprint the registration form, write "Add to
Registration" and submit payment.
